Young Talents Competition

Various effective competitions are regularly held among young people with a bright future in our rapidly developing country to select talented musicians who will make a worthy contribution to the development of our culture and art and, in the future, enable Turkmen national musical art to resonate on the world stage. The "Young Talent" competition for graduates of children's music schools across the country delighted participants with positive results, and the jury, comprised of experienced musicians who fairly evaluated the children's performances, left a special feeling of pride.
The first stage of the competition, organized by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan jointly with the Danatar Ovezov Turkmen State Specialized Music School under the Maya Kulieva Turkmen National Conservatory, took place in the regions from March 16-18. The second stage of the competition took place from March 26-28 at the Danatar Ovezov Turkmen State Specialized Music School.
At the competition, graduates of the children's music school presented their performances to the jury, performing two pieces. The competition was held in the following categories: bakhshi, vocals, choreography, piano, string instruments, Turkmen national musical instruments, folk musical instruments, and wind instruments. The jury utilized the capabilities of a digital system to effectively evaluate musicians not only by listening to their live performances but also by listening to music performed online by students from regional children's music schools. Leading, experienced music teachers from the Maya Kulieva Turkmen National Conservatory, the Danatar Ovezov Turkmen State Specialized Music School at the Maya Kulieva Turkmen National Conservatory, and the Specialized Music Boarding School at the Maya Kulieva Turkmen National Conservatory, who presented their positive results, were selected to serve on the competition jury.
The competition concluded in the concert hall of the Specialized Music Boarding School at the Maya Kulieva Turkmen National Conservatory, where the winners were awarded. During the ceremony, the winning musicians demonstrated their skills by performing their masterpieces. Students selected from among their peers were awarded certificates of honor and commemorative gifts.
May the work of our venerable Hero Arkadag, Hero Arkadagli Serdar, the custodian of such opportunities for young people to demonstrate their professional skills, always be crowned with success.
